“I started working on the feature film Illegally In Love in 2007. This was the first film project I worked on with Andrew. I then went successively to the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague and the Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam. Together with Andrew, I made the feature film Sunny Juliette (2018) and the internationally distributed short film Chasing the Sun (2018).”

Besides his work as a film maker, Elmar is also a visual artist in painting.
